專業服務學習教學模式對營養系學生學習表現之影響

服務學習為學生與社會連結的橋樑,研究顯示服務學習可培養學生內在學習動機,亦能提升學生的專業知識應用能力。本研究目的為利用專業服務學習成效調查問卷探討學生之學習表現——將前測問卷給予修習公共衛生營養學之59位學生填寫,學生完成專業服務學習後,蒐集學生反思學習單和後測問卷進行統計分析。結果顯示,學生參與專業服務學習後自我價值觀之自我認識、自我肯定及自我管理皆顯著提升,且學生參與專業服務學習後學習成效之溝通表達、專業知識應用、問題解決、邏輯思考及反思能力也顯著提升。學生在參與專業服務學習前後其自我價值觀差值、學習動機差值及學習成效差值,三者間呈顯著正相關,表示三者間有正向之影響。綜合上述,透過專業服務學習教學模式提升了學生的學習成效,並且增加其自我價值認同感,因此在公共衛生營養學課程導入專業服務學習,是有效促進學生學習表現的教學模式。

Effects of Professional Service Learning Teaching Model on Learning Performance of Nutrition-majored Students

SERVICE-LEARNING serves as a bridge between students and society. Research has shown that SERVICE-LEARING helps students develop intrinsic motivation and enhances students' ability to apply professional knowledge. Therefore, this study aims to use the professional SERVICE-LEARNING effectiveness survey questionnaire to explore students' academic performance. This questionnaire was used as the pre- and post-test instrument on 59 students taking the public health nutrition course. Other than the questionnaire, the students ' reflection logs were collected by the end of the course. The results showed that the category of students' self-worth: self-knowledge, self-affirmation, and self-management all significantly improved after participating in professional SERVICE-LEARNING. The category of students' learning effectiveness: communication expression, professional knowledge application, problem-solving, logical thinking, and reflective ability all significantly improved after participating in professional SERVICE-LEARNING. There was a significant positive correlation between the differences in self-worth, learning motivation, and learning effectiveness of students before and after participating in professional SERVICE-LEARNING, indicating that the three have a positive impact. Based on the above, after participating in professional SERVICE-LEARNING during the public health nutrition course, students became more aware of their self-worth, and their learning effectiveness on this course was increased. Therefore, the introduction of professional SERVICE-LEARNING into public health nutrition courses is a teaching model that effectively promotes students' learning performance.
