邏輯思維與數學思維之教學研究及成效分析

本研究欲藉由開發通識課程「邏輯思維與數學遊戲」,進行以「訓練思維技巧」為主的教學活動與研究。教學內容及目標分為兩個主軸:一是以推理遊戲加強邏輯思維能力,二是以數學遊戲培養澄清解題脈絡的數學思維能力。透過課程教案的遞迴式及時重新設計機制,營造出誘發思考的學習環境,讓學生能自主地發展實驗、觀察、發現、分析、論證等一連串學習活動,以提升邏輯思維與數學思維的能力。研究發現,參與課程的學生在學習態度與情意皆有提升,特別是經過數學遊戲課程的洗禮後,更願意主動嘗試以數學方法解決問題。而在邏輯思維課程之「推理遊戲」的學習上,學生對文本的理解能力(或閱讀能力)及解題能力雖未見明顯的改善,但在「語意邏輯」的部分教學內容仍可見學習成效,他們已具備運用幾個形式邏輯公式回應正確判斷的基礎能力。

Teaching Research and Results Analysis of Logical Thinking and Mathematical Thinking

The aim of this study is to develop the instructional design of the general course “Logical Thinking and Math Games” and set up a series of learning activities based on “the training of reasoning techniques”. The learning content is divided into two major parts. One uses a series of activities with puzzle games to improve the students’ ability of logical thinking. The other is using math games to develop the ability of clear and organized thinking in problem solving. Through the innovative design of the course plan, a learning circumstance could be created to inspire the students thinking independently to develop a series of learning activities such as experiments, observation, discovery, analysis and demonstration. Consequently, the students’ abilities of logical and mathematical thinking could be enhanced. This study found that the participating students had improved learning attitude and emotion; especially in math game courses, they were more likely to solve problems by mathematical methods on their own initiative. In the course of logical thinking, the students' difficulties in reading comprehension were not ameliorated significantly. Nonetheless, students could use logical formulas to make correct judgments in the course of logical semantics. The practice of this research program looks forward to accumulating the innovative capability of general education in order to alter the students' own learning content and customs and then arouse their enthusiasm for knowledge.
