時光小旅行:多元表徵的幼教史課堂活動

本文透過三個延續的活動設計,於幼兒教育史課程的實踐中,豐富學生的多元表徵經驗。課堂教學參考教育戲劇(Drama in Education, D.I.E.)的概念,進行三個以穿越時空為主的活動,以呈現多元表徵的內涵。「旅人照相機」為以一靜止的畫面,呈現當時歷史背景之特色;「多拉A夢時光機」是以時光機的方式回到過去,以短劇呈現該國、當時幼兒的生活;「時光旅人:穿越」則是邀請古人來到當代台灣,對台灣幼教現況提出看法。實踐過程中學生因漸進的活動、教師提問以及活動方式豐富多元表徵的學習以及自身的理解。本活動亦可延伸應用於各領域發展史課程與跳脫現有時空背景之相關專業課程中。

Time Travel: Multiple Representations Activities in History of Early Childhood Education Course Teachings

This program enriches students' multiple representation experiences in the curriculum of the history of early childhood education through three continuum activity designs. The design of this program refers to the concept of Drama in Education (D.I.E.) and develops three activities of travelling through time and space. The "Travelers’ Camera" is a still picture, showing the characteristics of the historical background at that moment. The "Doraemon Time Machine" goes back to the past by time machine, and presents the life of young children in the country at that time in a short play. The "Time Travelers: Crossing" invites ancients to contemporary Taiwan, and seeks their views on the current situation of preschool education in Taiwan. In the process of practice, the learning on multiple representations is enriched and students have deeper understanding through sequential activities, teachers' questions and ways of activities. This program can also be extended to courses in development history in various fields and other related professional courses that break away from the current space and time.
